Winter ConcertThe band and choirs will be presenting their winter concert tonight at 6 pm. Please come show your support for the MASH musicians. Dress Down DayWednesday, December 23 will be a half-day. Pickup is at 1:30 pm. Please join our Holiday Theme Dress Down Day.

Dear Parents, It is with great sadness that we inform you that our dearly beloved Mauro-Sheridan Staff Member, Mr. Linehan (computer technology coordinator) passed away over the weekend. Mr. Linehan was instrumental with implementing our magnet school vision, and brought technology to the forefront for our school. Mr. Linehan loved our students and assisted so many teachers daily at Mauro-Sheridan School. He touched the lives of our students and staff members with his daily presence in the building, and will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Counselors were on hand to support children and staff members at school today. Services are unknown at this time, but will be posted on Mauro-Sheridan’s website if you would like to attend. MASH Bash Date/Fecha: Friday, October 30th Viernes 30 de octubre Time/Hora: 5:30-7:00 P.M. Place/Lugar: School Gym/Gimnasio de la escuela For Mauro-Sheridan Families ONLY!!! Come and join us for an evening filled with fun, games, and music. Activities for the whole family! FREE admission! APPROPRIATE costumes will be allowed. NO MASKS will be permitted. However, face paint and/or hats are acceptable. IMPORTANT!!! STUDENTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES DURING THIS EVENT!!! NO STUDENT IS TO BE DROPPED OFF AND LEFT WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION. Also because of space limitations, extended relatives and friends are NOT allowed to participate at this event. STUDENTS WHO WERE OUT, OR HAD IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION THAT DAY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE EVENT. The PTO will be selling hotdogs ($2.00), juice (50¢), water ($1) and chips (50¢) Be sure and pass through our “MASH Trail of Terror”, IF YOU DARE!!! Each student will be given one colored entrance ticket that will indicate the time he/she will enter the „MASH TRIAL of TERROR”. PARENTS, Please take note: The “Mash Trail of Terror” may not be suitable for the little ones. Volunteers are needed. In Other News This week is National Science Week. Our middle school students have been helping a younger class with a space project each day this week. The PTO meeting scheduled for October 15 is cancelled, and the October 6 meeting has been changed to Election Night. Elections will take place on Tuesday, October 6 from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. This will not be a meeting. Please drop by and vote for the best board possible to support our school and our children in the PTO Mission statement.
